PBS Festival and network event – September 2019

Tracy and Jan attended the Network of Networks in Winchester last Thurs PM organised by Jonathon Beebee.   Both came away very reassured that what we are providing is exceptional and apart from one other network, none of the others work as we do.

Many of those attending gave a lot of positive feedback and wanted to know more and some are hoping to attend future sessions (even though they are not part of Avon & Wiltshire, they will be welcome).

There was a discussion about challenges/ambitions – some things which were raised were linked to commissioners, CQC involvement, as well as ensuring there was a balance to theory / practice and being jargon free (something I think we are always mindful of), funding came up and again Jan and I reiterated how successful we have been without funding attached?

It was great to validate what we are doing and the success we have had and how we do not always celebrate what we have achieved.
